You can get good solid options trading news by reading quality financial newspapers. The best of the best are Investors Business Daily, The Wall Street Journal, Barrons and the Financial Times. The great thing about a newspaper is you can sit down away from a computer, brew up a nice cup of coffee and relax. But these financial newspapers keep you abreast of important events in the greater financial markets, events that impact directly on options prices.
By far and away my favorite is The Wall Street Journal. If you’ve never done it, pick up a copy, especially the weekend edition. This paper provides solid analysis of the latest business happenings and up-and-coming economic trends. The stories and articles can be mined for option-selling and other investing ideas. All the day's news is presented in a convenient non-opinionated manner. Editorials, which are excellent, are relagated to the editorial section. If you are like me, you will find this paper to be quite a resource indeed.
