Jack Schwager
The Market Wizard books are essentially a series of conversations with top traders. Schwager’s principal goal in these books is to understand how successful traders made their fortunes and to distill their method for success. He found that there was no common method. Instead he found that there are many ways to make money in the markets. Each individual trader had his own successful system that was geared to his trading personality. What would work for one person might not work for the next. Thus, in addition to talent and hard work, the secret to success lies within each individual. What is interesting about many of these top traders is that early in their careers, most of them nearly went broke. It wasn't until they vanquished their trading demons and got their personal psychology right that they became highly successful. If you have not read any of the Market Wizards, you will find them highly interesting and full of practical information.
